A new report claims Angelina Jolie invited Brad Pitt to celebrate Thanksgiving with her and their six children. But, this story has been debunked and proved to be only a made-up report.
HollywoodLife claims Jolie wants her kids to be happy by having both of their parents around them when celebrating holidays, so the actress plans to surprise them by inviting Pitt to join them on Thanksgiving dinner. The so-called source of the outlet said Jolie is aware her kids would love to have their father to celebrate the special day with them, and she's planning to recreate the tradition of the family wherein Pitt is carving the turkey.
The tipster further asserted Jolie isn't certain if the actor might take her offer, but she just wanted to make at least something nice for their children. Allegedly, the actress extends an "olive branch" to Pitt as she has been in a forgiving mood, particularly since the holiday season is approaching.
However, according to Gossip Cop, there's no truth with HollywoodLife's claim and the entire story is simply fabricated. A source, who is close to the situation, confirmed that no one in the inner circle of Jolie spoke to the tabloid regarding the Thanksgiving plans of the actress. The report doesn't seem to make sense as well, considering the fact that the ex-spouses were still in an on-going custody battle over their children.
Just last week, it was reported that Jolie and Pitt custody will go to trial on December 4 if ever both of them wouldn't reach an agreement before that day comes. E! News, which is a more reliable outlet, also reported the custody talks of the two had been up and down for the past months, and they aren't yet on the verge on making an agreement.
Also, a judge ruled back in June that Jolie might lose the primary custody of their six children if she didn't allow them to spend times with their father. Then in August, the actress accused her estranged husband of not paying meaningful child support, but the actor's lawyer just dismissed the claim. The two weren't still in good terms so it's unlikely the actress would invite the actor to have dinner with them on Thanksgiving, as per Gossip Cop.
Meanwhile, HollywoodLife was busted last year for also making a story that Jolie invited Pitt to join their kids to trick or treat on Halloween - but this claim never happened. Hence, the outlet's latest report about Jolie invited Pitt this Thanksgiving is similarly false as well.
