A new report claims Hailey Baldwin has been getting plastic surgery as she wanted to adopt the facial features of Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. The model is reportedly spending over $40,000 on cosmetic surgery just to copy the singer's lips, nose, chins, and eyebrows. This claim, however, has been debunked and confirmed to be a made-up report.
NW magazine reported Baldwin and Bieber's relationship is on the rocks after two months of being married, but the model believed she could save it by resembling his ex-girlfriend. A source of the tabloid alleged Baldwin that she's constantly comparing herself to Gomez, causing her to doubt and change herself just to look more like the singer.
The alleged tipster further contends that although the model hates Gomez, she's still obsessed with her. Baldwin is allegedly working hard just so she can keep her man, and it's no coincidence she changed her name to "Hailey Bieber" after getting married. The unidentifiable source added the model is likely losing her own identity, and she's changing into Gomez.
According to Gossip Cop, there's no truth with NW magazine's claim. First, the marriage of Baldwin and Bieber isn't in trouble, and they celebrated her birthday and Thanksgiving in Canada. Bieber also posted a photo on his Instagram account, sharing it's his first Thanksgiving as a married man, and it's the first time both sides of their family got together.
The spouses were also spotted passionately kissing on Saturday at the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game. And just earlier this month, Bieber posted a photo of him and Baldwin with a caption, "My wife is awesome."
If it's also true that Baldwin indeed had plastic surgery - including chin reconstruction and a nose job - over the past few weeks, she would have been seen wearing bandages when she was spotted hanging out with her husband. Such procedures usually require a longer period and don't exactly heal overnight. Also, the model doesn't look any different as well, and she's not wearing any post-surgery gauzes.
Regardless, a rep for Baldwin confirmed to Gossip Cop that the tabloid's claim is only a made-up report. NW magazine also has a record of making false reports regarding the relationship between Bieber and Baldwin. In August, the outlet wrongly claimed the model and the singer were breaking up, and then reported the following month the couple would be having their wedding at Hillsong Church in Australia, but both claims didn't even happen.
