Song Joong Ki surprised everyone with his new looks at the Valentino's Pre-Fall 2019 collection fashion show in Tokyo. Song Hye Kyo's husband graced Vogue Korea's Instagram page and gave his fans a short message regarding his new style.

"Because I usually prefer a clean-cut style I went with this all-black suit," Song Joong Ki said about his new look. "I hope many people will be able to appreciate it."

Song Joong Ki was invited to attend Valentino's Pre-Fall 2019 runway show as a Korean representative. After Vogue Korea shared his clip on Instagram, fans could not help but notice his new hairstyle.

Song Joong Ki now has a longer permed and curly hair, which was similar to his looks on the cover of Esquire magazine in August. According to MNews, his mane is very different from what people used to see in "Descendants of the Sun" and "Battleship Island" that showed a refreshing change.

 
The last time fans saw Song Joong Ki in his 10th anniversary fan meeting, he was still sporting his usual "Descendant of the Sun" clean look. His wild but stylish curls caught the attention of everyone, and fans said that it looked like his style when he was still filming "Innocent Man" in 2012.

Song Joong Ki's new hairstyle even matched his all-black suit accentuated with silver spiky cuffs. At the event, Song Hye Kyo's husband took pictures with the Thai actress Nittha Jirayungyurn. He also sat next to EXO's Lay and Chinese actress Yang Mi during the Valentino's Pre-Fall 2019 fashion show, per Koreaboo.

Song Joong Ki is now busy preparing for his returning project on tvN, "Asadal Chronicles," along with Kim Ji Won and Jang Dong Gun. It is set to be out in 2019. His wife, Song Hye Kyo, on the other hand, is back to the small screen with "Encounter" opposite Park Bo Gum.

Song Joong Ki's father, Song Yong Gak, is also supportive of Song Hye Kyo's new drama series after being away from the limelight after her marriage with his son. In a sweet message, via Soompi, the older Song Yong introduced himself and promoted his daughter-in-law's new show, "Encounter."

"Our lovely daughter-in-law Song Hye Kyo will be starring in a Wednesday-Thursday drama called 'Encounter' with Park Bo Gum," he said in a note. Song Yong Gak then revealed when the show would air, its time, and its network. Song Joong Ki's father even added that fans would see different chemistry that they have never seen before when they watch other television series.

Song Yong Gak continued to say that "Encounter" is "highly praised and a great emotional drama." Song Hye Kyo's new Korean drama series airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 p.m. KST on tvN, while Song Joong Ki's upcoming show will be out next year on the same network.
