BTS often faces criticisms and negative remarks from haters and internet trolls. But as the saying goes that "you can never put a good man down," two former Big Hit Entertainment trainees revealed their experience living with the Bangtan Boys. Despite the accusations the hitmakers deal with, Bit-Hoon and Ji Hoon revealed they are indeed good people on their respective YouTube channels.
Ji Hoon talked about BTS's genuine care for each other and other people, and the incredible teamwork they have among the members. He said that the group differed from other trainees from other companies because they didn't compete with one another.
"I remember how Namjoon (RM) rounded all of us together to stress the importance of 'friendly competition,'" Ji Hoon said about BTS. The 24-year-old rapper also advised everyone to always support each other, per AllKpop.
Talking about their dorm life, Ji Hoon said that they were "rarely apart." They were so close they showered while someone used the toile, and other one brushed his teeth.
Although there are a lot of celebrities pretending to be good in front of the camera, Ji Hoon revealed BTS is "really genuine." What people see on television are their real personality and attitude. They are sometimes dumb, but always cute and passionate about what they do that makes them pure innocent.
Aside from their big hits, talents, and good performances, Ji Hoon said that BTS's success is because they are "nice people, and RM is a good leader." Another former trainee Bit-Hoon, on the other hand, recalled the time when Suga took care of him when he got sick.
Just like Ji Hoon, Bit-Hoon also lived and practiced with BTS. The event happened when J-Hope's mother brought a box of half-dried herring. As he wanted to share it with everyone, they ate it in an instant that made him felt sick.
When he locked himself in the restroom, Suga knocked on the door and asked him if he was okay. The BTS member then took and assisted Bit-Hoon to the hospital. When he lost consciousness, he found himself lying on a hospital bed and saw Suga sleeping by his side.
Suga also helped Bit-Hoon to pay his hospital bills. The BTS member kept telling him that he would give him money if he still needed more, although they were extremely "poor" at the time.
So when the time came that Jimin got sick when they were still training, he also helped him, remembering what Suga did for him. "I honestly want to cry, even now," as Bit-Hoon still felt touched of the BTS member's move.
