A new report claims Nicole Kidman refused to be part of "Big Little Lies" season three because she was tired filming the hit HBO series. The actress allegedly ready to move on from the show, and she'll only appear until season two. This claim, however, was proved to be inaccurate and only based on Kidman's comment in her recent interview.
NW magazine alleged Kidman wasn't interested in doing another season of "Big Little Lies," wherein a so-called source of the outlet said the actress is tired working with "willful women." The tipster added Kidman is thankful she received accolades and awards for her role in the series, but bunking down in Northern California doesn't appeal to her anymore. Allegedly, the actress is busy doing other projects, so if ever her co-producer and co-star Reese Witherspoon asked her to be part of the third season, she can answer she's "too busy" to do it.
The claim of the tabloid, however, is only based on Kidman's comment in her recent interview with Variety. At that time, the actress said "Big Little Lies" season three is unlikely since it's hard to gather the whole group together. NW magazine forgot to mention that the actress also noted they would love to do another season if it's possible. The tabloid didn't include that note on its claim so it would look like Kidman isn't interested in doing the third season.
Also, it's not also true the actress doesn't enjoy working with her co-stars. Kidman frequently praises her colleagues in her social media. After "Big Little Lies" season two was announced earlier this year, the actress shared a photo on her Instagram account, with a caption including, "#BigLittleLies sisters." During the Emmy Awards in September, the actress also shared a throwback photo of the "Big Little Lies" cast in the 2017 Emmy Awards. Although she wasn't present in this year's event, the actress reminisced about being with her co-stars at the event last year.
And regardless, a rep for Kidman confirmed to Gossip Cop the latest claim of NW Magazine is false. The rep said no one is talking about the third season at the moment. After the second season of the "Big Little Lies," its future remains unlikely since the casts were busy doing other projects. But, the claim that Kidman refused to return in the season three isn't true, and she's open in doing another season.
