WWE TLC happens on Dec. 16 with a lot of interesting cards on tap. One of the big events to look forward to is the humongous clash involving Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin. The duel has been given a bit of a twist with the health of the Monster Among Men still in question.
Strowman's true health has yet to be revealed. He underwent elbow surgery and so far, the consensus is that he is not at 100-percent. Only the WWE writers are likely to know the real score on that although another monkey wrench has been thrown into the mix - Bray Wyatt.
Wyatt has been away from the WWE scene ever since Matt Hardy was sidelined. Though he did appear at Starrcade, he has been on and off the grid. The word out right now is that the Eater of Worlds will make a surprise appearance at WWE TLC although it remains unclear what he will actually do, Dave Meltzer said.
There are a couple of scenarios to consider. One is that he would take the place of Strowman against Corbin although this complicated things a bit - especially when it comes to the match stipulations.
As detailed by Fox Sports Asia, a Strowman win would reward the behemoth with a Universal title clash with Brock Lesnar at the WWE Royal Rumble. It would also strip Corbin of his Interim general manager power.
On the other side, a Corbin victory would give the Lone Wolf full capacity as general manager. These stipulations could end up nullified if Strowman is unable to compete.
Then again, Wyatt could end up appearing not to directly compete but to help out his former Wyatt Family protege. It could be the signal of Bray ending up as a manager once more, a role he was known for when the Wyatt Family was still together.
Of course, there is also that possibility that Wyatt will be appearing to flip the script. He could end up betraying Strowman (assuming he does not compete), helping the Lone Wolf win the match. If so, this alters the script entirely - including the potential match with Lesnar for the Universal title.
Aside from that, there are a lot of interesting matches to look forward to at WWE TLC set to go down at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. There is the battle for the WWE Intercontinental title pitting reigning champion Seth Rollins against Dean Ambrose and the WWE Raw Women's championship match between Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax.
WWE Champion Daniel Bryan will also stake his title against AJ Styles and there is that Triple Threat Match for the WWE Smackdown title between defending champion The Bar, The Usos and the New Day.
