The 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea will be star-studded as more and more celebrities confirmed their appearance. Aside from Song Joong Ki and a long list of performers like Wanna One, GOT7, and many more, Angelababy will also be one of the presenters.
CJ ENM confirmed Angelababy, one of the most famous actresses in Asia, appearance at the 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong. According to HelloKpop, the 29-year-old star, with the real name Yeung Win, made her debut in the Hollywood in the movie "Hitman: Agent 47." She is best known as the cast of "Keep Running," Chinese adaptation of South Korea's "Running Man."
The Singaporean JJ Lin will also attend the 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong, along with Sunmi. Soompi reported that with their recent comeback, MAMAMOO would grace the event the 2018 MAMA Fans' Choice in Japan. The group would be joined by the NU'EST W.
GOT7 and Wanna One also promise to show their new performances at the 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong. GOT7 recently released their third studio album in September. Its title track, "Lullaby," gained a lot of attention all over the world with its English, Chinese, and Spanish versions.
So to show their fans their heartfelt gratitude, GOT7 will do a dark and sexy version of "Lullaby" at the 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong. The group also promises to make different performances.
On the other hand, Wanna One will make an appearance at the three 2018 MAMA ceremonies in Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea. The group will perform their new hit "Spring Breeze" for their first studio album at the 2018 MAMA Premiere in South Korea. They, too, will show their support to the new artists gracing the stage.
For the first time, Wanna One will perform their song "I.P.U. (Propose Ver.) at the 2018 MAMA Fans' Choice in Japan. Lastly, they will be looking back at their past and their journey to success at the 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong.
Top Korean hip-hop artists will also gather at the 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong, per AllKpop. Tiger JK will be one of the event's guest hosts along with his wife Yoon Mi Rae. Various artists from "Show me the Money 777" like PALOALTO, The Quiett, Swings, Changmo, Nafla, and the previous "SMTM" winner BewhY, too, will take the stage.
The 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo on Friday, December 14, hosted by Song Joong Ki. Park Bo Gum will lead the 2018 MAMA Fans' Choice in Japan at the Saitama Super Arena on Wednesday, December 12, while Jung Hae In will be the 2018 MAMA Premiere in South Korea's presenter at Dongdaemun Design Plaza on Monday, December 10.
