After revealing the first line up of performers gracing the 2018 Gayo Daechukje, KBS now announced its second line up of stars. The annual music festival will surely blow K-pop fans' hearts and minds with many performances on this much-awaited year-end party.

Just like the first line up, the announcement of KBS's second line up for 2018 Gayo Daechukje will surely make the fans excited. The performers include EXO, VIXX, AOA, TWICE, NU'EST W, GOT7, MONSTA X, and NCT 127, per AllKpop.

Highlight's Junhyung, 10cm, Roy Kim, Lovelyz, and Momoland will also perform on the 2018 Gayo Daechukje's stage. As the yearly event will never be complete without its presenters, KBS also revealed that EXO's Chanyeol, BTS's Jin, and TWICE's Dahyun would host the year-end music festival.

KBS previously announced the 2018 Gayo Daechukje's first line up on Tuesday, December 11. As fans couldn't help but to get excited which performers are going to grace the stage, the network revealed it would be BTS, Wanna One, Red Velvet, SEVENTEEN, and GFRIEND.

Aside from performances, according to Kpopmap, there will be special stage collaborations happening at the 2018 Gayo Daechukje between different idols. Just like in the 2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Korea, where there were special stage collaborations between Stray Kids and The Boyz, fans are hoping that there would be a lot of it in future music festivals.

However, in a forum on OneHallyu, one fan questioned Mamamoo's absence on the 2018 Gayo Daechukje. "What's going on between Mamamoo and KBS?" the fan asked.

The netizen first noticed that KBS didn't promote Mamamoo's song, "Wind Flower," on "Music Bank." Now, the network didn't invite the girl group on the 2018 Gayo Daechukje.

KBS's Gayo Daechukje is one of the most anticipated year-end music festivals in South Korea. It usually airs on the said network before the year ends.

Gayo Daechukje first occurred in 1965. At the time, it was an awards show. However, KBS decided to stop the awards ceremony in 2006, but the music festival continued with stars' performances. It went on to hold an awards ceremony in 2013, but once again stopped.

The 2018 Gayo Daechukje will take place at the Seoul Gocheok SkyDome with "A Huge Fantastical Party" theme on Friday, December 28. Fans who can't join the live show don't have to worry, as the network will also air the music festival on the same day at 8:30 p.m. KST.
