After the success of BTS's "Burn the Stage: The Movie," the fan-favorite Korean boy band will once again conquer the big screen. Bangtan Boys' "Love Yourself in Seoul" will be out worldwide for a one-day viewing event, featuring their "Love Yourself" world tour.
"Love Yourself in Seoul" is shot at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul in August 2018. It is the opening concert of BTS's "Love Yourself" world tour, which drawn a legion of fans from North America, Europe, and Asia. It is even the most sought-after tour of the year, per the Fan Carpet.
"Love Yourself in Seoul" will not only delve into BTS's full concert as a group performer but also V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga's energy and talent as a solo artist. The concert film will also show their dedication to the artistry and music industry. Aside from featuring a sold-out concert, the documentary will also unite fans all over the world to celebrate their favorite idols' international stardom.
"Love Yourself in Seoul" will be out in 20 cities around the globe. It will also be available on Screen X in 15 countries. Screen X offers a "unique immersive experience" with its three-side-surround and multi-projection technology by featuring footages shot by 42 different cameras.
Ticket sales for "Love Yourself in Seoul" will be available on Tuesday, December 18, through the event's official website. However, Elite Daily reported that the sale has started on Monday, December 17. There will be a complete list of screening location also on its website or the Fathom Events' website.
The publication also noted that there are theaters that already began selling "Love Yourself in Seoul" tickets. Just like BTS's "Burn the Stage: The Movie," which holds Korea's record for having the most number of theatergoers that watch a music documentary, "Love Yourself in Seoul" might also break records. According to Soompi, the initial successfully sold 300,000 tickets and even made history in the U.S. box office record for earning a whopping $3.5 million in just four days.
"Love Yourself in Seoul" will be out on January 26, 2019. Big Hit Entertainment, on the other hand, released BTS's official poster for the film that makes fans more excited.
