Netflix has yet to green-light "Making a Murderer" Season 3, but it looks like a lot is about to happen if it pushes through. With Kathleen Zellner's latest revelations about Steven Avery's case, there are strong assumptions that the convicted has the chance for freedom.
Zellner first teased the "Making a Murderer" Season 3 awaiting fans with a tweet that excite them. "Tomorrow we will announce a new, important development in the Avery case about 2:30 pm CT. Stay tuned!" she said on Twitter.
On the day she said, Zellner revealed in a series of tweets what could have happened to Theresa Halbach in 2015, per Express.co.uk. "I'm going to walk you through what I've learned through my investigation that you didn't see in the show," she said. Would this be revealed in "Making a Murderer" Season 3?
Zellner revealed the chronological order of Scott Tadych's, Brendan Dassey's stepfather, visit to Bobby Dassey at Avery salvage yard and Halbach's arrival to the place.
At the time, Tadych and Bobby were the only ones who saw Teresa and followed her. Avery was said to be in his trailer. Zellner claimed that the two pulled over the victim's car, knocked her to the ground, and struck her with an object.
They put Halbach in the rear cargo and drove back to the yard. The victim's car was even seen leaving the place with an unidentified driver. It was abandoned at West of Mishicot. Three witnesses saw it after, and then it was suddenly gone.
Halbach's body was found burned in a burn barrel - 60 percent of her bones and 31 teeth went missing. Bobby's burn barrel had human bones. Her electronics were even burned in his burn barrel.
A witness smelled the odor of something burning in Manitowoc County gravel pit. The Dassey's garage was never DNA tested. Bobby even hung a deer in there. There was even a note that said a body was burned at smelter around 3 a.m., where Tadych worked at night.
The suspect knew Avery's finger bled, and this suspect had access to his trailer, knew that the blood on the sink was Avery's and removed it. The suspect then planted the blood in Halbach's car, her bones in his burn pit, and her electronics to his burn barrel. Zellner ended her tweet with a conclusion that Halbach's real killer was the person who had access and chance to put Avery's blood in the victim's car.
According to The Wrap, Kathleen Zellner's revelations opposed the evidence prosecutors presented at the trial. The prosecution claimed Avery and Brendan Dassey raped and killed Halbach in the initial's trailer. They allegedly burned her body after the act.
In "Making a Murderer" Season 2, Zellner questioned Tadych and Bobby. The latter might not be telling the truth, while Brendan's stepfather lost his temper in one scene.
Zellner believed that the motive for Halbach's killing was driven by rage because of rejection. She is now currently appealing Avery's conviction, and her brief to the appeals court is due on December 20. With these revelations would Avery get freed?
