Now that Brianna (Sophie Skelton) has successfully crossed the stone to find her parents, will she finally get reunited with her father Jamie (Sam Heughan) and mother Claire (Caitriona Balfe)? In "Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8, "Wilmington," it looks like the young woman and her former boyfriend, Roger (Richard Rankin), will be in big trouble.
Starz recently revealed "Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8's official synopsis and trailer, and teased what would happen to Brianna in the hands of her mother's mortal enemy, Laoghaire (Nell Hudson). On the other hand, Roger ended up being on the ship of this season's ultimate villain, Stephen (Ed Speleers). Although there are a lot of hurdles, the two lovers will eventually meet again.
"Roger's diligent search for Brianna pays off when he finds her in Wilmington," "Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8's synopsis read, per Meaww. "But their romantic reunion comes to an abrupt halt when she discovered pertinent information that he intentionally kept from her."
In "Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8 trailer, Roger asks a stranger if she saw Brianna while showing him her hand-drawn image. "I'm sorry I haven't," he said. By a twist of fate, that stranger is Fergus (Romann Berrux).
The next scene shows Brianna and Stephen's scene in "Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8. "Perhaps you can change my luck," he tells her while showing the silver ring he stole from her mother. When Brianna recognizes the ring, she asks Stephen where he got it.
Also, the trailer reveals Jamie and William (Tim Downie) in serious conversation in "Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8. The governor says something about insurgents, a leader, and Murtagh Fitzgibbons. He is said lurking in the woods and about to do something bad while saying, "Let's take our money back."
Being Murtagh's godson, Jamie asks Claire to get the governor's attention while he will try to warn his godfather about what is going to happen. At the end of "Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8 trailer, Roger will finally find Brianna when he hears her voice asking someone about Cross Creek's passage.
According to Express.co.uk, "Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8 will make a tremendous change to Brianna's life. Although she will be finally reunited with Roger, they may fall out once again because of a big secret she is about to find. She, too, may be in danger now that she meets Stephen.
"Outlander" Season 4 Episode 8, "Wilmington," will be out on Sunday, December 23, on Starz. Amazon Prime, on the other hand, will release the new episode on Monday, December 24, in the UK.
