EXO's fans are in for a treat. With only a few days left before the year ends, member Kai (whose real name is Kim Jong In) talked about his highlights from this year and his plans for the year 2019.

On Wednesday, Dec. 19, EXO's Kai appeared as a guest on KBS Cool FM's radio show "Moon Hee Jun's Music Show." During his appearance, the 24-year-old singer and actor admitted that the release of their fifth studio album, "Don't Mess up My Tempo," was one of the most memorable moment for him this year.

"When I meet our fans with my members with a new album ['Don't Mess up My Tempo' and 'Love Shot'] and new performance, I'm so happy," EXO's Kai told show host Moon Hee Jun, as quoted by Soompi.

He went ahead to say that attending Gucci's 2019 spring-summer fashion show and seeing the popular Eiffel Tower in person last Sept. 24 stood out to him the most. He, then, noted that he would forever remember those significant events.

To make things more exciting, EXO's Kai shared some of his plans for the year 2019. He revealed that he would be making his solo debut soon, although he did not reveal any further details on it. He will also continue developing creative movements to further improve his dancing skills.

"I do it [dancing] because I enjoy it, more so than trying to improve," EXO's Kai added. "It makes me feel good when I'm complimented, and also makes me think I need to work harder."

Kai debuted as a member of the South Korean-Chinese boy band EXO in late 2011. As a group, they have already released six albums such as "XOXO," "Exodus," "Ex'Act," "The War," "Don't Mess up My Tempo," and Countdown."

As a solo artist, Kai has released a single "Deep Breath" last 2014 and has been featured in SHINee member Taemin's "Pretty Boy." He also made his acting debut as the male lead in the 2016 web drama "Choco Bank" opposite actress Park Eun Bin ("Operation Proposal" and "Hello, My Twenties!")

Since then, Kai starred in several web dramas and television series, including Naver TV Cast's "First Seven Kisses (2016)," KBS 1TV's "Andante (2017)," KBS 2TV's "Miracle That We Met" (2018) and the Japanese television series "Spring Has Come (2018)," which is based on a novel with the same name by Kuniko Mukōda.
