There will be a lot of action-packed scenes in the upcoming "Boruto" Chapter 31. After Delta confronted Naruto in the previous chapter, a battle between the two is about to ensue.
"Boruto" Chapter 31 will reveal what will happen in Delta and Naruto's confrontation. A big battle will surely occur, and from the looks of it, Delta's power will be no match for the Hokage, per the Anime Scrolls.
However, OtakuKart reported that Naruto would have a hard time to go all-out against Delta as he is with Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki. Naruto will try his best to protect these kids, and stop Delta from getting them in "Boruto" Chapter 31. Naruto may ask the Shadow clone to protect the two, and bring them to safety.
While Naruto and Delta are in an intense battle in "Boruto" Chapter 31, Kashin Koji is watching them from a distance. The "Inner" seems confused between saving Delta and continuously watch them fight.
But although Naruto is busy handling Delta in "Boruto" Chapter 31, Kashin may stop the clone from saving the kids. He will try to fight to be able to snatch either Boruto or Kawaki. From the looks of it, he will get Boruto.
There are also theories that Kashin doesn't care about Delta. He also knows that Naruto can easily kill them both with just one shot. But, he cannot let her get captured in "Boruto" Chapter 31. So to remain protecting Kara's information, Kashin may kill Delta without being noticed, and continuously watch Kawaki and Boruto from a distance.
If Kashin doesn't successfully kill Delta, the latter will leave in "Boruto" Chapter 31 while Kara will escape. It is also possible that Naruto will destroy Delta and Kashin will tell Jigen what happens.
"Boruto" Chapter 31 will be out on January 28, 2019. Its scans may probably release two to three days before its publication.
Meanwhile, according to Comic Book, "Boruto" illustrator Mikio Ikemoto teased both anime and manga series' dark turn in 2019 at the recent Jump Festa 2019. The 41-year-old artist revealed there would be "intense developments" and "struggles to death" fans are about to witness.
As translated by @OrganicDinosaur, Mikio Ikemoto said "Boruto" is going to get wilder. The story will revolve around Boruto and Kawaki, and their upcoming battles, which will be more intense with the use of different Ninjutsu and scientific ninja tools.
"[We] will [depict] struggles to the death, so unprecedented, [we will] never see something like them again," Mikio Ikemoto added. He continued to say Boruto and Kawaki will both have "highly active" roles in "Boruto" next episodes and chapters, so fans can expect to witness more intense battles.
