SM Entertainment will take "SMTown Live" concert in South America this January. South American fans now have the reason to celebrate as they can soon see their favorite idols live and in the flesh on stage.
Titled "SMTOWN Special Stage in Santiago," SM Entertainment will bring their top K-Pop artists on South American stage. The likes of BoA, Super Junior, Girls' Generation's Yuri, Hyoyeon, SHINee's Key and Taemin, f(x)'s Amber, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT 127, and NCT Dream will show their invaluable talents and performances for a very special two-night event.
According to AllKpop, "SMTown Special Stage in Santiago" will take place on January 18 to 19 at National Stadium or Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile. It is the first time that SM Entertainment will hold an SMTown concert in South America and at the National Stadium of Santiago.
Estadio Nacional is known as a historical place in the country where the 7th Chile World Cup finals took place in 1962. It is also the largest venue in Chile where famous performers all over the world like Shakira, U2, and Radiohead, among others, performed, per Koreaboo. It is also the first time that Korea will hold a global concert there.
Pousta noted tickets for "SMTown Special Stage in Santiago" were already put on sale on Tuesday, January 1. Ticket prices start at 50,000 Pesos while VIP tickets can go as high as 150,000 Pesos.
Tickets are still available through Punoticket system. More tickets are made available for General and VIP admission.
The VIP ticket for "SMTown Special Stage in Santiago" is priced at 150,000 Pesos. It includes numbered seats, exclusive event registration, a special bill for purchase, and official merchandise's withdrawal of SMTOWN, which will be announced a couple of days before the concert.
"SMTown Special Stage in Santiago" VIP ticket for people on a wheelchair is at 120,000 Pesos and admission for non-VIP people on a wheelchair is at 60,000 Pesos. Also, Andes Central Numerado is priced at 130,000 Pesos, the Andes alone is 90,000 Pesos, and General admission is 50,000 Pesos.
SMTown Live's "Special Stage" concert is one of the most important K-Pop music events in Korea. SM Entertainment holds this event annually since 2008.
SM Entertainment's top artists grace the stage of different countries in Asia like Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, and Singapore. It also went international when the company took it to New York, LA, Paris, Dubai, and now in Latin America. It also breaks a lot of records by bringing K-Pop concerts in different countries.
