"Memories of the Alhambra" came to a close on Sunday, January 20, and its stars had nothing but good words for each other. The cast members also sent their heartfelt gratitude to their fans for watching the series from the very start until the end.
Before "Memories of the Alhambra" ended, its leading stars Park Shin Hye and Hyun Bin recalled the times they started the drama series. In an interview, via Soompi, the 36-year-old actor, behind the role Yoo Jin Woo, reminisced when he left for Granada, Spain, with an excited heart in the late spring as the summer came near in 2018.
"Among all the projects I've done, 'Memories of the Alhambra' filmed for the longest time," Hyun Bin said. The "Secret Garden" actor hoped the show would be a good memory to all the cast members and staff after they had been together for seven months.
Hyun Bin also wanted to express his gratitude for the viewers for watching "Memories of the Alhambra" for two months of airing. He also wished fans felt a "refreshing and original" journey through his character's eyes.
On the other hand, Park Shin Hye, who played two roles Jung Hee Joo and the game character Emma, also thanked all "Memories of the Alhambra" viewers who supported her characters from the start. Just like Hyun Bin, she also said her fellow actors, staff, and director left a big impression in her memory as they worked together for seven months. "Everyone worked really hard, and I was really grateful and happy," she said.
