Lee Jong Suk graced the press conference of his latest drama, "Romance is a Bonus Book," on Monday, January 21, at Imperial Palace Seoul. The 29-year-old star talked about his being a fan of Lee Na Young and his plans for his mandatory enlistment.

"I think I'll end up enlisting this year," Lee Jong Suk said, via AllKpop. With that said, the "While You Were Sleeping" star needs to finish "Romance is a Bonus Book" well before he enters the military.

Lee Jong Suk wanted to show his fans that he also has comedy skills as it is the first time that he does "romantic comedy genre." He admitted he received a lot of help from Lee Na Young, so he managed to do it well.

Previously, Lee Jong Suk openly named Lee Na Young as his ideal girl. So when asked about his "Romance is a Bonus Book" co-star, he said he hoped he would never have to answer that question. "Everyone at the sets knew (she's my ideal type), but I hoped no one would talk about it," he said. He then added that he is an avid fan and he is very grateful for working with her.

Lee Jong Suk also talked about his previous characters and compared it to his new role in "Romance is a Bonus Book," per Soompi. He went on to say that he used to play developing-type characters like in fantasy series, now his role is very realistic that completes the list.

However, Lee Jong Suk added that the fact that his character exists in "Romance is a Bonus Book" seems like a fantasy for Lee Na Young's role as Kang Dan Yi. He's an extremely charming character, to the point where I felt I wanted to be a little like him, so it's also difficult," he said.

"Romance is a Bonus Book" is a romantic comedy that follows people in the publishing world. It will tell the tale of Kang Dan Yi, a great copywriter who is having a hard time to find work, and Cha Eun Ho (Lee Jong Suk), a star writer and an icon in the world of literature.

In the new "Romance is a Bonus Book" preview, Kang Dan Yi is seen cleaning the house while Cha Eun Ho is looking at his phone with a questionable look. In the series, they have a sibling-like relationship, so he considers Lee Na Young's character as his noona or older sister. The show is set to launch on Saturday, January 26, at 9 p.m. KST.
