Someone from BTS is about to release a new song, and fans will surely love who it is. Jimin revealed V is now preparing to release his self-composed track, and the latter just confirmed it.
In a Naver V Live broadcast after BTS's concert in Singapore, Jimin dropped major news about V. "Didn't Taehyung [V's given name] tell you guys? That he has a song that he's working on that he wants you guys to hear?" he said, per Soompi.
Jimin then asked everyone who was watching him if V already gave them some details of his plans as he should never be the one to tell them about it first. As he also hasn't heard the new song, he is now looking forward to its release. "I told him to let me listen to it when it's all finished. So let's wait together for Taehyung's song, okay?" he told BTS's fans.
After the broadcast, Jimin didn't stop to show his support on V and used Twitter to announce his pal's new project. "I love you, Taehyung. Everyone, let's wait for Taehyung! I'm reaaaaaally looking forward to it toooooooo!" he wrote. He even used the hashtag, Taehyung I love and cherish you.
So to confirm the news, V also took it on Twitter and said everything Jimin said is true and correct. "That's what it was," he validated.
Jimin then responded to V with a selfie and once again said that he is already looking forward to his new song. He also used the hashtag Taehyung I love you and cherish you a lot one more time.
V previously hinted that he is working on a "special gift" for BTS fans at the recent 28th Seoul Music Awards during his Daesang (grand prize) acceptance speech. The present is said to be released sometime this year. Some fans speculated that it would be a photography book, while others guessed it would be his self-composed song that Jimin talked about.
Meanwhile, NU'EST's Baekho revealed how kind V was at the recent 33rd Golden Disc Awards in a V Live broadcast. In a fan-taken video, it was seen there were only three chairs for the group's four members. So, the two of them had to stand up while the others would sit.
Upon seeing this, V gave NU'EST extra chairs so everyone could take their seat. Baekho showed how grateful he was for the BTS member's move. He also admitted that they were all upset with what happened, but Taehyung came up with a solution. "He was like an angel," he said.
