Fans will have to wait a little longer before they witness what will happen in "NCIS" Season 16 Episode 13, titled "She." The show will give way to US President Donald Trump's State of the Union Address as CBS will air a repeat of "The World's Best" on its timeslot. But in its return, viewers are definitely in for a treat.
"After a malnourished and confused 9-year-old is found hiding in a storage unit, NCIS reopens an old missing person case when the girl is believed to be the daughter of a Navy recruit who disappeared 10 years ago," "NCIS" Season 16 Episode 13's official synopsis read. "Also, Bishop discovers notes that Special Agent Ziva David kept on the case long after NCIS officially stopped investigating."
As the synopsis mentions Special Agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), according to Express.co.uk, there are theories she will return in "NCIS" Season 16 Episode 13. The former Israeli Mossad officer may join the new cast members like Kasie Hines (Diona Reasonover) in a case that has something to do to her history.
Although Ziva's return is not yet confirmed, there are some proofs that she will make an appearance in "NCIS" Season 16 Episode 13. Cote de Pablo's character is an important part of the team's new case, so it is expected that she would join the team - even in flashbacks.
Fans last saw Ziva in "NCIS" Season 11 Episode 2, titled "Past, Present, and Future." When Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) managed to track her down in Israel, she told him she would stay and quit being an agent after her father's death. Since then, the show featured some episodes based on her history, and "NCIS" Season 16 Episode 13 would be no different.
Aside from Ziva's possible return in "NCIS" Season 16 Episode 13, there are also assumptions that the original characters will make a comeback for a reunion in celebration of its 400th episode in "NCIS" Season 17. Michael Weatherly already expressed his interest to return to the show to celebrate this milestone, per CarterMatt. He is also open to working with Cote de Pablo once again to put an end to their story and give their love a chance.
Also, Mario Bello confirmed her plans to direct an episode of "NCIS" Season 17 in a post on Wilmer Valderrama's Instagram Stories. Although the show is just about to air "NCIS" Season 16 Episode 13, the 51-year-old star is now preparing for her "scripted television debut" as a director.
"NCIS" Season 16 Episode 13, titled "She," was supposed to air on February 5. But, fans have to wait a little longer as it may be out on February 12 or February 15 on CBS.
