"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" has ended its "Mitsuki's Disappearance" arc with the death of a major Kage -- Onoki. Now that the threat surrounding the Hidden Stone is gone, what would happen to the team in "Boruto" Episode 92, titled "A New Ordinary?"
Boruto and the rest of the team will have to deal with the aftermath of leaving the Hidden Leaf without permission in "Boruto" Episode 92. With the end of "Mitsuki's Disappearance" arc, the fallout of Mitsuki will start while others will be labeled "deserters."
"A callous punishment for Boruto and his comrades as they return back to the village?!?" "Boruto" Episode 92's official synopsis read, per Comic Book. "Together with Mitsuki, Boruto and his comrades return back to Konoha, Mitsuki, who had left the village without permission, has been separated all alone."
Boruto and his team have violated some orders, so they have to face its consequences in "Boruto" Episode 92. The fallout also has something to do with the recovery of the Hidden Stone village after the Fabrications' attack.
The Iwagakure Village suffered great damaged because of the current incidents. Fortunately, the current Tsuchikage, Kurotsuchi managed to restore the peace and order once again with her strength. Although "Boruto" Episode 92's official synopsis revealed Kurotsuchi would be involved in punishing Boruto, it looked like she would oversee the punishment for Boruto and his team.
Before "Boruto" Episode 92 airs, the previous episode featured Onoki's death. The Third Tsuchikage reportedly needed to die to end "Mitsuki's Disappearance" arc's story. Although he retired as a ninja, he remained to be involved in everything that was happening in the world. He was even the one who unintentionally created the Fabrications that later conquered his home village. Sadly, it cost him his life to make them stop.
Team 7 failed to defeat Ku, so Onoki braved to face him alone. As the organization's head fought hard, Onoki used his remaining power to put the mentor-student down with the Particle Style technique. "Burn this into your memory! Witness Onoki the Fence Sitter's final Particle Style," he said in "Boruto" Episode 91.
The battle took its toll on Onoki, and Team 7 knew he was in bad shape. In his last moments, Boruto and Sarada tried to comfort the Sage while he passed on his finals words and told the two how wisdom could help them. With his death, the Hidden Stone lost a piece of history, and its aftermath would be seen in "Boruto" Episode 92.
