"Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15, titled "Truth or Dare," will serve as the show's season finale with a heartwarming wedding. But knowing how the show runs, will everything be fun and joy at David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) and Krystall's (Gail O'Grady) nuptial? Showrunner Erica Messer revealed there would be "season-ending twists."
"Wedding bells are ringing as Rossi prepares to marry Krystall," "Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15's official synopsis read. "But first, the BAU team travels to Los Angeles to investigate a series of fatal shootings in broad daylight following car accidents."
True to its course, "Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15 will be solving another case involving fatal shootings. It is not yet revealed who is behind these killings, but it might be another UnSub.
In the lighter note, CarterMatt reported fans would see Rossi's daughter and the BAU family attending his wedding with Krystall in "Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15. Rossi has been through a lot when it comes to his romantic life. So, it is maybe the chance he is waiting to find his one true love - especially that the show is coming to an end.
In an interview with Messer, she told TVLine "Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15 would be a "great big one." Although there would be a bad guy, fans are about to see a lot of good stuff at Rossi and Krystall's weddings. There would also be good things to happen in between.
Messer didn't want to go on details about "Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15 as she wanted fans to take a ride while watching the finale. She also talked about "season-ending twists," and teased that there were some discussions that weren't announced. But, there would be an "interesting emotional cliffhanger versus SUVs" that would explode.
As "Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15 would be a full episode, Messer also added they are going to "jump ahead in time" to start the final 10. The finale would be featuring a "little more serialized storytelling," including a bad guy that fans would meet at the end and would be the main focus in the next season.
Messer described this new character as a "worthy adversary" for the BAU during "Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15. Compared to Rossi, he is younger, faster, and stronger. The villain is even like his Joker, but he could never be as smart as him.
"He's a worthy adversary because he does have a lot of things on his side, including being a truly twisted individual," Messer said. "Criminal Minds" Season 14 Episode 15, "Truth or Dare," would air on Wednesday, February 6, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
