Fans are about to hear a new song for the upcoming "One Punch Man" Season 2. The Brazilian singer-songwriter Ricardo Cruz is about to write a new track as the anime series' main theme this season.

According to Anime News Network, Cruz is part of the Japanese song group, JAM Project. They are reportedly a dream team of singers who later turn out to be the performers of top caliber anime series like "Dragon Ball Z," "Saint Seiya, "Changeman," and now "One Piece" Season 2.

Cruz wrote the song "Uncrowned Greatest Hero" or "静寂のアポストル - Seijaku no Apostle" in Japan for "One Punch Man" Season 2. It would be the opening song for the anime series that would replace their original song for the previous season, "The Hero."

It would be the first time that a Brazilian songwriter would compose a song for an original anime series in Japan like "One Punch Man" Season 2. In Brazil, Cruz already sang Portuguese versions of the tracks for different shows like "Hunter x Hunter," "Saint Seiya," and two "Dragon Ball Super" ending themes, which screened by Cartoon Network in South America.

Aside from JAM Project, Cruz is also part of the Brazilian song group, Danger 3. The band's two other members, Larissa Tassi and Rodrigo Rossi, also created tunes for anime series "Saint Seiya," "Rayearth," and "Dragon Ball."

In addition to JAM Project and Danger 3, Cruz also has his own YouTube channel, called Anison Lab. Here, he sings anime and tokusatsu songs in Japanese and Portuguese. He even had a historical duet with the legendary, 73-year-old Kushida, who is the original voice behind the classic songs of "Kinnikuman," "Dragon Ball Super," and other tokusatsu genres.

Meanwhile, the CD for "Seijaku no Apostle" and another untitled song would be out on April 24 in two different covers - the artist's own cover and the "One Punch Man" Season 2 cover. Also, there would be a live-streamed presentation of this year's AnimeJapan event that the voice actors of Saitama, Makoto Furukawa, and Genos, Kaito Ishikawa, would attend on March 23.

"One Punch Man" Season would have a new cast. It was recently announced that Masaya Matsukaze would join the anime series as Suiryū, the legendary four-time champion of the Super Fight tournament. He might join forces with Garou, who would be voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa, to give Saitama a hard time in the new season.
