Lee Jong Suk's agency, A-Man Project, shuts down the rumors the 29-year-old actor will be enlisting this month. In an official statement, the company revealed the news is not true and "premature."

"Lee Jong Suk has not yet received his draft notice, and the news about his enlistment date being February 28 is not true," A-Man Project told OSEN, via Soompi. "It's something we've never heard before."

Lee Jong Suk will indeed begin his mandatory service in the first half of the year, and not this February. He is set to complete his service as a public service agent. A-Man Project explained he suffered a ruptured ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) in a car accident when he was in a middle school, so it was decided long ago that he would be a public service agent.

With his scheduled service training, A-Man Project revealed they are trying to film his new drama, "Romance is a Bonus Book," "as fast as possible. Lee Song Juk also plans to start his mandatory service as soon as his draft notice is out.
