Many fans are now excited for the up-and-coming NCIS Season 16 Episode 13. Titled as "She," the imminent new episode is, reportedly, bringing back one of the most-loved characters in the series: NCIS Agent Ziva Davis (Cote de Pablo). Will the former Chilean-American actress reunite finally reunite with Mark Harmon? Will she become a part of the NCIS family again? Or, will she only have a guest appearance?
Speculations about Cote de Pablo reprising her role as Ziva in the popular American action police procedural television series sparked after a promo teased the former agent's involvement in the new case. In the official NCIS Season 16 Episode 13 teaser, avid followers of the series saw NCIS Agent Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) discovering some of Ziva's notes after the agency closed the cold case.
Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his team will find an undernourished 9-year-old girl hiding in a storage unit in the forthcoming NCIS Season 16 Episode 13. The lass, according to theories, could be a daughter of a long-missing Navy recruit.
"A malnourished and confused 9-year-old is found hiding in a storage unit, causing NCIS to reopen an old missing persons case when the girl is believed to be the daughter of a Navy recruit who disappeared 10 years ago," the official NCIS Season 16 Episode 13 synopsis read. "Also, Bishop discovers notes that Special Agent Ziva David kept on the case long after NCIS officially stopped investigating."
Up until now, it remains to be seen if Cote de Pablo will appear on NCIS Season 16 Episode 13. However, should this theory come into reality, some fans predicted that her character would only appear thru flashbacks.
For starters, Cote de Pablo was one of the series regulars along with Mark Harmon, Pauley Perrette, David McCallum, Sean Murray, Rocky Caroll, and Michael Weatherly. However, for undisclosed reasons, the 39-year-old star decided to end his journey and concluded Ziva David's storyline at the premiere episode of Season 11. Hence, it comes as no surprise that fans got thrilled after it was claimed that Cote could appear on NCIS Season 16 Episode 13.
NCIS Season 16 Episode 13 is set to air on Tuesday, Feb. 12 on CBS at 8 p.m. Executive producer Mark Horowitz directed the upcoming "She" episode.
