Fans are now more excited to see Game of Thrones Season 8 after HBO recently dropped new promotional images. Most of the George R.R. Martin inspired series' major characters, like Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) have their dramatic photos, but Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) seems to be different. So, the mother of dragons' snap sparks some theories.

All of the Game of Thrones Season 8's major characters wore dark clothing and looked very serious, except for Daenerys. Emilia Clarke's character managed to put on a little smile and donned what-seemed-to-be House of Stark symbols on her armor. It is not yet revealed what these symbols mean to Daenerys' alliance with Jon Snow, but it looks like she gains more honorary titles as she travels to the North, per Celebrity Insider.

Aside from Daenerys, Jaime looks like the Kingslayer fans used to see in Season 3 with the return of his facial hair. He is also wearing tattered clothing that seems to imply he has a hard time to get to Winterfell in Game of Thrones Season 8 after he left Cersei in King's Landing.

Meanwhile, in her appearance on Good Morning America, Lena Headey talked about her final scene in Game of Thrones Season 8 and described her looks on the new promotional images while sitting on the iron throne. "I'm either looking at Peter [Dinklage], or I'm thinking, 'Should I go down those stairs?'" she told the show's host, Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts, and George Stephanopoulos, via E! News.

As HBO bounds Game of Thrones Season 8 to secrecy, the hosts tried their luck to know who among the major characters would bid their final goodbye. They asked Lena Headey to blink once if Cersei, Jon Snow, Daenerys, or Tyrion die in the final season. However, she remained stone-faced and didn't give any details about it.

Instead, Lena Headey talked about her last day on the set of Game of Thrones Season 8. "My last day on set was really weirdly tedious because I just had to shoot going up and down these stairs and that was it," she said, quoted by Digital Spy. She then revealed she couldn't say anything else as the network would "kill" her.

HBO has taken great measures to keep Game of Thrones Season 8's under wraps. So fans still have to wait until April 14 to know what will happen to Jon Snow, Daenerys, Tyrion, Cersei, Jaime, and the rest of the show's characters' final outing.
