Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are once again the content of tabloids as the 51-year-old star is about to join her husband on his Graffiti U World Tour. There are rumors the Big Little Lies star is only going with New Zealand Australian singer to guard him and save their marriage.
Nicole Kidman will be on the road for three months with Keith Urban and their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, for his Graffiti U World Tour in Australia in Europe. A publication claimed she is only doing it to make sure the 51-year-old singer-songwriter will behave himself.
A so-called insider told the magazine Nicole Kidman is "worried sick" that Keith Urban might once again use drugs and alcohol when he is away. She also allegedly wants her husband to avoid "groupies from throwing their selves on him."
"If taking time away from her thriving career to travel with Keith and the band is what it takes to keep the spark alive, Nicole is ready to do it," the source said. However, Nicole Kidman's move is said making Keith Urban frustrated for her lack of trust and his loss of freedom. It could even make the couple grow apart if she continues guarding him.
But, Gossip Cop debunked this issue and said there is no truth about it, according to Nicole Kidman's spokesperson. The only reason the Aquaman star is joining her husband on tour with their two kids is for them to spend some quality time together. There is also no truth that she is afraid that he may relapse.
Keith Urban had a history of substance abuse and completed his rehabilitation in 2006, three months after his marriage with Nicole Kidman, per New Idea Magazine. Some sources said the Destroyer actress is sticking by her husband so he would not give in to temptations.
"Nicole is sticking to the story that it's to spend more quality time with Keith - but friends say there's more to it than that," the tipster said. Nicole Kidman will be upset if Keith Urban goes back to his old ways again, so she wants to be around to make sure the American Idol judge will stay clean.
There is also no truth about it as Keith Urban has remained clean since he got married to Nicole Kidman in 2006. Talking about his sobriety during a South by Southwest panel, he proudly said his wife helped him quit drugs and alcohol after they got married. The couple has been together for almost 13 years.
