Saucony introduced its newest shoe design and it was inspired by one of the favorite food of the millennials. The sneaker features an avocado toast design and it was aptly called the Shadow 6000 Saucamole.

As mentioned on USA Today, the Saucony's avocado toast-inspired sneakers have been put on sale for $130 and as of today, 11 out of the 17 available sizes were already sold out.

The sneaker-maker distributed the shoes at select stores in the U.S. Jason Faustino, Saucony's spokesperson revealed that the company only made 1,200 pairs so this is a limited edition.

On its website, Saucony described the Shadow 6000 Saucamole as a sneaker that features "a 'toasted' leather, smashed avocado textured suede, red pepper flake collar lining and the "Saucamole" shout out on the heel."

As can be seen in the photos, the shoe has white midsole to complete the appetizingly clean look. The shoe also has an avocado-shaped logo that was embellished on the unit's tongue.

At any rate, this is not the first time that Saucony created a food-inspired sneaker. In fact, the company has a history of basing their designs on popular food items, as per Delish.

In 2018, Saucony released its Dunkin' Donuts-inspired sneakers. It was said that since the company always design a custom pair of running shoes for the Boston marathon, last year it chose the world-famous donut brand to be their next design.

The model was called the Saucony X Dunkin Kinvara 9 and it features Dunkin Donut's DD logo on the tongues. The soles were fitted with a picture of a cup of coffee and the word "Boston" was also printed on the sides of the shoes.

The Saucony X Dunkin Kinvara 9 was sold with the slogan that reads: "America runs on Dunkin." What more, the box of this sneaker was even designed to resemble the actual packaging used in the actual Dunkin Donut shops. The DD-inspired shoe line was sold for $110 which is a bit lower than the new avocado-inspired sneaker.

Meanwhile, Saucony is owned by the Michigan-based Wolverine Worldwide group of companies. It also manages other popular shoe brands that include Hush Puppies, Keds, Hush Puppies, Stride Rite, and Sperry.
