Actor Orlando Bloom and singer Katy Perry continue to make the headline. This time around, a new tabloid report claims that the 42-year-old actor's excessive partying is allegedly affecting their relationship.

The latest issue of Star Magazine (via Gossip Cop) claimed that Orlando Bloom's excessive partying could allegedly cause a conflict with Katy Perry's sober lifestyle. With that in mind, the singer-songwriter's friends think their relationship will soon come to an end.

"[Katy Perry's friends] they were there to pick her up the last time these two called it quits," an unnamed source told Star Magazine. "And they're worried Katy didn't properly think this through," the source added.

However, there is no evidence that supports Star Magazine's claims and the identities of Katy Perry's so-called friends were also not disclosed. The "Chained to the Rhythm" hitmaker's representative also debunked the report and stressed that the entire narrative was made up.

Despite the report, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's relationship is stronger than ever. In fact, they are currently enjoying and celebrating their recent engagement. They are also busy planning a big engagement party, which will be attended by their families and friends, according to PEOPLE. More details will be revealed on a later date.

For starters, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry started dating shortly after the 73rd Golden Globe Awards in January 2016. Since then, they were seen together at various events and vacations. The two, however, called it quits in February 2017.

Then in April 2018, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry rekindled their romance. Just 10 months after they resumed their relationship, it was confirmed that the two are engaged to be married. However, they have not figured out their wedding plans just yet.

Both Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are busy with their respective careers. The former will headline the upcoming neo-noir fantasy web television series, Carnival Row, created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham.

He will also star in the upcoming science fiction film, Needle in a Timestack, alongside actors Leslie Odom Jr., Cynthia Erivo, Freida Pinto and Jadyn Wong. The film follows a couple whose marriage is challenged when a traveler gets involved in their lives. No release date has been set yet.

Katy Perry, on the other hand, is currently serving as a judge in ABC's American Idol Season 17 alongside award-winning singers Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. It airs every Monday and Sunday on ABC.
