The United States issued a warning to Germany over allowing Huawei to build its mobile-internet infrastructure in their land. On March 11, the Trump administration told the German government that it would restrict or cut intelligence info sharing with them if it will use the Huawei technology.
In a new update, it was learned that Germany has no intention of banning Huawei. As per Tech Radar, the German communications revised its regulations instead and there are new criteria for all the vendors. This development is a big boost for Huawei because this shows many are willing to work with the company despite the misconceptions and allegations.
"Security requirements apply to all network operators and service providers, irrespective of the technology they deploy," Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA), the German communications regulator stated. "All networks, not just individual standards like 5G, are included."
Likewise, the U.S. government's claims have not been proven until now thus its assumptions against Huawei are just based on beliefs. The lack of solid proof is the reason why many other countries have no qualms in allowing Huawei to operate in their lands.
Huawei's excellent service and ability to offer advanced technology are the main points that made people trust them for technology and mobile communication needs. Since the beginning, Huawei is focused on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in aspects involving superior product quality and support services.
Washington has given Huawei the cold shoulder but the US will be proven wrong after the Chinese tech company sued the American government for the unfounded claims against them. Huawei is fighting back because it was falsely accused and unfairly judged when there is nothing that points to the company doing something illegal.
Financial Times mentioned that the US is trying to convince others to avoid Huawei but this is just not working. Washington's call was mostly ignored since many know that the Chinese company is simply doing what it does best and that is to provide the best and most innovative services worldwide.
In fact, data shows that Huawei is flourishing in many countries, Europe included. In 2017, Huawei was reported to have exported 3.6 million phones to the U.K. and it earned a huge market share of 11.4 percent.
From there, the number continues to rise and it almost doubled in 2018 with 6.7 million shipments. The company also bested the American tech firm, Apple, by gaining 24.8 percent market share in Europe.
