Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson can't find their relationship any longer, and now that they have been seen smooching in public a few times, rumors say the two are planning to live together. Friends, however, say Beckinsale is very happy with her new man, but it's unclear if she's ready to move in with him.
According to Gossip Cop, rumors of Beckinsale and Davidson planning to live together came from a tabloid story on Heat. Insiders dished to the magazine that the couple has agreed to be exclusive and could be "living together very soon."
However, Gossip Cop cited sources from Beckinsale's camp denying the story. Beckinsale has her whole life in Los Angeles while Davidson is based in New York because of his work on Saturday Night Live (SNL).
Another source told People that the relationship is not serious for now. What the star of "Underworld" wants is to have a fun life with a man who can make her laugh.
Beckinsale and Davidson's new romance has been receiving a lot of press because of their age difference. The actress is 45, and the comedian is 25, and he's four years older than Beckinsale's daughter in college.
Davidson addressed the controversy of their age difference by making it a punchline on his show. He said that he could not understand people's fascination over it when even the President of France is married to a much older woman.
The comedian was once engaged to Ariana Grande, but the pair broke up in October after their five-month relationship. Davidson also openly admitted he's suffering from mental health problems, which worries Beckinsale's friends. However, Beckinsale's other friends also said she'd been younger and funny men before with her relationships with comedians Jack Whitehall and Matt Rife.
"She's a very together woman and totally in charge of her life," a source told Page Six. "If Pete gets too dependent or starts to spiral down, she won't stick around."
Beckinsale and Davidson were first spotted flirting at a Golden Globes party. A month later, the two were photographed holding hands after walking out of a club in Los Angeles. Then in March, the pair were also photographed coming out of a party in New York.
The following week, Beckinsale and Davidson watched a Rangers game and smooched and cuddled each other. They were no longer hiding their relationship in public, and Grande even thought that the new pair look so cute together.
