Impractical Jokers Season 8 just premiered on TruTV last March 28, but fans are already getting excited about what is coming next. Luckily, cast members Joseph "Joe" Gatto and James "Murr" Murray are spilling all the details.

In an interview with Us Weekly Magazine, Joseph "Joe" Gatto and James "Murr" Murray promised a fun-filled episodes with loads of entertainment for all the viewers. The upcoming episodes will also see them take on different kind of challenges and punishments.

"The cool thing about [Impractical Jokers] season 8 is that we are able to pull off challenges and punishments we never dreamt of in season 1 because of our killer crew and staff that work on the show," James Murray, 42, said. "That being said, the guys and I are the same people we were nine years ago... We have not advanced or matured at all. We are still stuck in high school," he added.

Similarly, Joseph "Joe" Gatto said the reason why he and co-members James "Murr" Murray, Brian "Q" Quinn, and Salvatore "Sal" Vulcano are still having fun despite airing for 8 years now is that they always think of new and different ways to make each other laugh, while enjoying what they are doing.

He added that he is really excited for the viewers to see his punishment, saying the idea was super simple but the location made it so odd. To make things even more exciting, a celebrity will make a special appearance in the upcoming episodes of Impractical Jokers Season 8.

All the efforts of the cast and staff members have paid off as Impractical Jokers has been well received by the public due to its witty humor. The reality series - which was produced for truTV by NorthSouth Productions with Charlie DeBevoise, Pete McPartland Jr., Joe Gatto, James Murray, Brian Quinn and Sal Vulcano serving as executive producers - even ranked as the No. 2 original cable comedy in primetime for adults 18-49, and No. 3 for adults 18-34 throughout the second half of 2018, according to Deadline.

As a result, an Impractical Jokers feature-length movie is now set for release later this year. It is directed by Chris Henchy (Land of the Lost, The Other Guys and The Campaign) and is produced by Funny or Die Film/Television Production Company.
