This is the moment every Marvel fans has been waiting for. The latest trailer for Avengers: Endgame teases the much-awaited reconciliation of Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert John Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers / Captain America (Chris Evans).
On Thursday, April 4, a brand-new trailer for Avengers: Endgame has been released - which saw the Earth's mightiest heroes - Bruce Banner / Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), James "Rhodey" Rhodes / War Machine (Don Cheadle), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) to name a few - trying to figure out a way to get their friends, family and loved ones back from the dead after Thanos' (Josh Brolin) decimation.
It also saw Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Rocket (Bradley Cooper) sharing a moment as they realized they had lost Peter Quill / Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff).
As if that was not exciting enough, the one-minute-long trailer featured the much-awaited reconciliation of Tony Stark / Iron Man and Steve Rogers / Captain America. The two - who have extremely different beliefs and codes of ethics - must make up and put their differences aside to bring down Thanos once and for all.
In addition to the above-mentioned character, Avengers: Endgame will also see the arrival of Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel (Brie Larson). How the character will come to the rescue of the Avengers remain unseen, but speculations are rife that she will time travel from 1995 into the present day.
"I guess we might figure out that [Captain Marvel] she can do things that nobody else can do," actor Samuel L. Jackson - who plays Nick Fury in the franchise - said in an interview with Total Film (via The Hindustan Times). "She can time travel, so maybe she can get ahead or behind or whatever, and figure out what all that is. The fact I have the pager 20 years later - it gets addressed in an interesting sort of way," he added.
Nonetheless, Avengers: Endgame will see the return of fan-favorite heroes including Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Wong (Benedict Wong), Virginia "Pepper" Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Harold "Happy" Hogan (Jon Favreau). The characters who were killed due to the events of Avengers: Infinity War will also make appearances.
Avengers: Endgame will have a total runtime of three hours and two minutes and is set to open in theaters across United Status on April 26.
