With only more than a week left before Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres on HBO, it seemingly appears that time is running slower than ever. And every fan of the most watched series can attest to this.

Although numerous spoilers and teasers are already circulating around different media platforms, every Game of Thrones fan knows that this will not quench the thirst. In fact, only a small percentage of the fandom views and reads posts of the series' plot predictions, theories, and spoilers. And this is actually a good thing for both viewers and the production team.

Even so, the network did not stop teasing the fans and the audience for the upcoming season of the show. In fact, the most recent teaser that HBO released to increase the hype is the air dates and the actual runtimes of each episode.

In the previous months, there were speculations that each episode will likely run up to two hours. As it happened, fans of Game of Thrones theorized that each episode of the final season will be a game-changer. Hence, every episode will be like a real-time theater film.

Although this has become a possibility, not to mention that the whole fandom would love to have it that way, producers and the network remained to have each episode for at least an hour up to an hour and a half. And this has been confirmed when the official teaser publicized that Game of Thrones Season 8 will consist of its final 432 minutes on screen.

It is also worth noting that the final season will be comprised of six episodes only. And in comparison to the previous installments which normally have 10 episodes, the upcoming one will have the smallest number of episodes.

On April 14, the new and final season of the most awaited series will finally premiere and have its first episode on air for a total of 54 minutes. And the succeeding episodes will air for the next five Sundays reaching May 19 that will serve as the series finale of the show.

But as the season progresses reaching its end, the runtime period increases as well. From 54 minutes, the next episode will have a total runtime of 58 minutes. As for the third one, it is actually the only Game of Thrones episode that has the longest runningtime. And fans can enjoy it for an hour and 22 minutes.

As for the fourth episode, it will take 78 minutes in totality. And the two last episodes will both have a total of 80 minutes each. While these runtime schedules are pretty much exact, there is still a chance that these will be revised once the new season arrives.
