Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has new episodes out on Netflix. Released last Friday, April 5, the second part is composed of nine chapters to complete 20 episodes ready for streaming on the digital platform at any time.
There exists some confusion as to the way Netflix lumped this show's episode releases, though. Instead of seasons, the installments are referred to as "parts," thus Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3 would also be known as part 3.
According to Screen Rant, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3, as well as season 4 (part 4), are set to begin its back-to-back production on April 29. These installments will have 16 episodes equally divided between them.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3 with eight episodes has been speculated to drop on Netflix around Halloween this year similar to its debut run. The next eight episodes, on the other hand, will be expected to stream in early 2020. However, Netflix has not announced the actual release dates for the next installments.
Meanwhile, the new season will find Sabrina (played by Kiernan Shipka) launching a search for Nick (played by Gavin Leatherwood) in Hell. As seen in the second part, she declared to her friends that they would have to go to Hell to retrieve Nick from the Dark Lord, Lucifer Morningstar (played by Luke Cook).
According to Den of Geek, Sabrina has also found an ally in Lilith (played by Jenna Berman) thus she won't have problems getting inside Hell. What Sabrina has to figure out, however, is how to separate Nick from Lucifer since he will most likely keep a close watch over him.
Meanwhile, Cousin Ambrose (played by Chance Perdomo) will be learning a new power in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3. Perdromo, however, told The Wrap that Ambrose would have a different mindset next season because he realizes he's got a family to protect while the threats around them are getting bigger and more dangerous.
He and Prudence (played by Tati Gabrielle) have to search for the twins, Prudence's siblings, who were taken by Father Blackwood (played by Richard Coyle). If Ambrose succeeds with this mission in Chilling Adventures of Sabrinaseason 3, then that's the only time he'll embrace what he was meant to become as a witch.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is based on the Archie comic books with the same title. Developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the show also stars Ross Lynch (as Harvey Kinkle), Lucy Davis (as Hilda Spellman) and Miranda Otto (as Zelda Spellman).
