Viewers should fasten their seatbelts as the spoilers for the upcoming episode of The Blacklist Season 6 reveal that the search is on for the individual who betrayed and turned Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) into the police.
Before that, here's a quick recap of what happened in the latest episode of The Blacklist Season 6. Episode 15, titled "Olivia Olson," saw Raymond "Red" Reddington back in the hunting game after he was released from prison.
This time, Raymond "Red" Reddington and the rest of the Task Force team were after a woman named Olivia Olson, who was working with presidential advisor Anna McMahon (Jennifer Ferrin). After an intensive investigation, the team found a radio feed of Olivia Olson, and she is broadcasting from a moving vehicle.
The scene shifted to the Task Force team chasing the vehicle, but eventually lost it when two semi-trucks blocked them in. Anna McMahon, then, received a phone call from Olivia Olson stating that she needs to take care of Raymond "Red" Reddington because the police were chasing after her. If not, she might betray her as what the latter suggested.
Now, the action continues in the upcoming episode of The Blacklist Season 6 as Elizabeth "Liz" Keen (Megan Boone) and Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) will come after another blacklister, dubbed "Lady Luck," who is known for erasing away gambling debts at a very high price.
It will also follow Raymond "Red" Reddington doing everything in his power to identify the individual behind his imprisonment. In the brief trailer for the upcoming episode of The Blacklist Season 6, the former master criminal can be heard saying he will not stop until he finds the person who turned him in.
"Liz (Megan Boone) and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) investigate a Blacklister who offers to erase gambling debts - at a deceptively high price," the official synopsis of The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16 reads (via Carter Matt). "Meanwhile, Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) grows concerned as Red (James Spader) tests the loyalties of their business associates in search of the individual who turned him into the police," it added.
The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16 will also see actor Michael Aronov (Quantico and The Americans) in an undisclosed pivotal role. Amir Arison, Harry Lennix, Mozhan Marno, Ryan Eggold, Ilfenesh Hadera, and Parminder Nagra will also make appearances.
The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16, titled "Lady Luck," airs Friday, April 12 at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on NBC.
