More women have come forward alleging rape by members of Jung Joon Young's chatroom.
According to a report by Channel A 'News A' on April 22nd, a group of women have filed a complaint claiming a similar instance of rape in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province.
According to reports, five men, including Jung Joon Young, Choi Jonghun, and a Burning Sun employee 'Kim', traveled to a resort in Hongcheon in January 2016. This specific trip was planned by Joon Young who invited several female acquaintances to the trip.
Police are paying special attention to the katalk conversations that happened around this time because they contain language that suggests the resort accommodations might have been used to facilitate the rape. Several photos and videos were uploaded to the chatroom It appears that the members also uploaded several videos and photos that Police suspect was illegally filmed.

The women who filed the complaint stated, "We drank the alcohol that the guys provided and blacked out. We have no memories of what transpired that night."
As the victims are female, the investigation has been delegated to the 'Women and Juvenile Affairs Division' of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. A source from police revealed, "We're investigating whether an instance of gang rape transpired due to the nature of the conversations noted in the chatroom."
