Last season, Wentworth ended with a great plot twist and cliffhanger. And based on the recent reports, Wentworth Season 7 will continue the plot where it left off. And once this current plot concludes in the early episodes of the new season, that is the only time when new storylines will emerge.
According to What's On Netflix, the upcoming season will feature a "new top dog" inside the prison. Also, there are speculations that a fight between Rita and The Freak will be highlighted. Hence, there will be a lot of major changes in the new season.
Other than these things, there are no further details that have been shared about Wentworth Season 7. Also, there are no official trailers and promotional teasers yet. But since the release date is now just a few weeks away, the whole fandom can expect that these promotional materials would arrive anytime soon.
These recent updates are music to the ears of many fans and viewers of the show. And to further make the whole fandom happy, Wentworth Season 8 is now sealed. Moreover, it is revealed that the newly commissioned eighth season will have a total of 20 episodes.
