Taylor Swift's latest single titled, ME!, has just been released recently and specifically on April 26. Apparently, this date has become one of the most awaited events for her fans due to the intriguing and thought-inducing hints and clues left by the artist in a series of posts.
But while everyone thought that her new and seventh album will be released on that very day, a new single has been shared, instead. Even so, many of them got it right that something "magical" from Taylor Swift will be given on that day. And that is her latest single, ME!.
With this new single at hand, everyone is now after to learn more about her upcoming album. Although there is no actual release date or name yet that have been revealed, Taylor Swift left a lot of "Easter eggs" as hints and clues for the name of her album and title of her second single. And as it happens, the Teardrops On My Guitar artist stated that these things are all included in the music video and lyrics of her latest single, ME!.
While everyone is very adamant to know what these are, the artist revealed that no one was still able to get it all right. She even confirmed that they are all missing the biggest and most obvious hint in her music video. And because of this, the whole fandom did not waste time and went on to do a little more digging.
In just a matter of two days after the release of ME!, the number of theories and speculations are already immense. And it seemingly appears that all of these theories are all logical which could possibly mean that some of the fans already know what's coming soon.
In an interview with MTV, Taylor Swift asserted that she's too excited and happy about her new album and new singles. Accordingly, she wants everyone to calm down first to further savor the moment. So, it seems that there will be no confirmations yet anytime soon. For all we know, she will surprise everyone again when the right time comes.
The artist further went on to explain that her upcoming album and singles are fresh music. And it's like coming back home all over again. This is in consideration of the big change she had back when she released Reputation in 2016.
And while talking about the freshness of her style and music, she admitted that things are not always fresh for her. In fact, there are times that she felt uninspired, exhausted, and unhappy. This is why she took a long hiatus previously to take good care of her mental health.
But recently, it looks like things are changing for her. She claimed that she is very much thankful and that one of the reasons behind this is her fanbase. Furthermore, she revealed that she tried to go "all-out" for ME! as a token of gratitude for her fans and everyone who supported her all throughout.
