Read At Your Own Risk: This article may contain possible spoilers for S.W.A.T. Season 2

S.W.A.T. Season 2 still has three remaining episodes before it finally wraps up. And based on the recent events, it somehow shows that the current installment might end with a dark and barbaric tone in its plot.

This is actually in relation to the storyline of the second season finale. As the official synopsis goes, it is revealed that the S.W.A.T. team will go in pursuit once more. And this time, they will go after The Emancipators which is shared to be a militant group that holds a live stream of their very own kangaroo court.

In this bench, the militant group is exposed to go after the city politicians. And it appears that they aim to publicly execute these people in positions and power.

Apparently, S.W.A.T. Season 2 Episode 23 is titled, Kangaroo. This is only suitable since the team will be targeting a group of criminals that operates a kangaroo court.

As you may know, a kangaroo court is generally an unofficial court that is spearheaded by a group of people. And in this kind of court, the standard laws and justice of the society are being largely ignored. Hence, the process of the trials and sentences are mainly dependent on the people who operate the siad court.

In the second season finale of the series, this is apparently the plot that they are going with. So, in some way and somehow, it only goes to show that S.W.A.T. Season 2 is about to end its course with a very barbaric tone considering that the executions are done publicly.

But even so, little has been shared about the totality of this plot. And if ever the series gets its renewal from CBS, there are no assurances yet if it will be a path that will lead to a huge cliffhanger.

On another note, S.W.A.T. Season 2 Episode 23 will also feature how Hondo will try to help Darryl. Although the details are not shared in the synopsis, it seems that Darryl will lose his self-esteem in the upcoming episodes prior to the finale.

As for Deacon, he is revealed to receive an honor from the LAPD. However, it appears that there is something wrong with this award that makes him feel unworthy to take it.

So far, these are the only details that have been shared to fandom. And surely, a lot more is to come, especially when the remaining S.W.A.T. Season 2 episodes arrive starting on May 2, on CBS.
