The Duchess of Sussex's mother, Doria Ragland, has been living at Frogmore Cottage with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since the start of April. She arrived in the U.K. to help her daughter with the baby's birth, and it looks like she's planning to move in more permanently to help raise the baby.

According to a report from The SunRagland has hired a house and dog sitter in Los Angeles, where she is based, while she's staying in London. She has also quit her job in the U.S., prompting speculations that she's planning a more permanent move to be with Meghan.

The source also revealed that Ragland, like any typical mom close to her daughter, has always been concerned about Meghan, especially since she lives so far away. The friend believes that the move may have in the plans for a while since Ragland wants to spend time with her grandchild for as long as she can.

Baby Sussex is due to arrive in late April or early May according to the royal couple. However, there is still no word on whether Meghan has given birth since she and Prince Harry decided to ditch the photo opportunities hours after the baby is born.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight reported that Meghan is happy to have her mother with her during this very important time in her life. Ragland has also helped the Sussexes settle into their new home, and the prince has also been enjoying her company.

Body language experts told Express that Ragland would be a great person to have around while Meghan gives birth. Judi James said that Ragland has a calm and assuring presence about her that will make the Duchess more confident about motherhood.

"Looking at Meghan and her mother's body language together it's clear that Meghan appears very slightly in awe of Doria," the body language expert said. "When she arrived for the Grenfell kitchen launch Harry fell back while Meghan and her mother walked ahead, with Doria pretty much in the lead with Meghan watching her and face-checking her in admiration."

Meanwhile, Vulture reported that a romance book based on Meghan's mom would be hitting the shelves soon. "The Royal Holiday" from writer Jasmine Guillory is about a single mother whose daughter has become a duchess, and she finds love in the queen's private secretary.

The book will be out by October. It's unclear, however, if the palace or Meghan's mom is aware that she inspired a romantic novel.
