Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are still receiving well wishes for the birth of their baby boy. One of these greetings is from the former actress' TV husband on Suits, Patrick J. Adams, who even suggested a playdate with Baby Sussex.
Adams extended his congratulations to the royal couple's new baby in a post on Twitter. He expressed his happiness for Meghan and Harry and ended his message with #playdatesoon.
The actor is married to Pretty Little Liars actress Troian Bellisario, and both were in attendance at Meghan's wedding to Harry in 2018. Adams and his wife welcomed their first child, a girl, last fall.
Adams and the duchess worked together on the set of Suits for six seasons. Their characters ended up getting married to each other before Meghan had to say goodbye to the show and give up acting to be with Prince Harry.
Meghan's other co-star on Suits, Sarah Rafferty, also posted her congratulations for the royal couple on the social media platform. The show's official Twitter account also expressed their happiness for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Meanwhile, reports revealed that Meghan gave birth at a hospital despite her home birth plans. She and Prince Harry initially learned techniques for hypnobirthing (water birth) because the Duchess wanted this to be completely natural.
According to the Daily Mail, she was likely brought to the nearby Portland hospital in London since the baby was already overdue and Meghan is 37 years old. The news outlet also revealed that Meghan might have been induced to deliver the baby with Prince Harry by her side the whole time.
Sources also told FOX News that the Duchess would be back in the public eye by the time the Queen celebrates her birthday this June. The understanding was Meghan will only be taking short maternity leave so she could get back to her royal duties and charity work right away.
"Meghan's mind frame is, 'Let's get out. Let's do what we can for Sussex, for Britain and for the causes that we believe in. But when we go home, we are absolutely private,'" according to royal expert Nick Bullen.
Bullen also said that Meghan is raring to be in the media again so that she could use this platform to promote the causes she believes in. The Duchess is quite media savvy and has been using social media for her charities even before she became a royal.
