Women want to be with them, and men want to be them. But it seems like the BTS boys are also enjoying what it's like to be someone else - thanks to Snapchat.
Snapchat knows a thing or two when it comes to creating viral filters. Its latest phenomenon, the boy/girl gender swap filter, has people sharing photos of themselves with altered features like longer hair or rosy cheeks and, honestly, the guys posting selfies using the filter look gorgeous. But for BTS, they want to know what they look like when they're older
Other than RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook changing their hair colors every few months, fans don't expect huge changes in their physical appearances, let alone the members growing full-blown mustaches and beards. Now that would be unexpected.
On a recent BANGTANTV YouTube channel upload, BTS members were spotted playing around with the popular Snapchat filters that alter their faces. In the video, Jungkook is seen trying out the filter on V.
The filtered version of V on Jungkook’s camera looks so different as it resembled American singer, songwriter, and actor Joe Jonas more than V himself. Jungkook and V can’t get enough of the result, and they seem astonished by the filter app and continue to giggle about how different they look.
Jungkook then tried it on RM. Although the camera panned quickly, so his result wasn’t clear, it appears that it was quite a change as the BTS leader also had a good laugh at it.
The video then continues to show Jimin trying out the filter alongside Jungkook, but Jimin doesn’t seem quite to like the way it has switched his face. “What are we going to do if we do end up looking like this in the future?” He asked Jungkook.
Fans also had a fun time watching the boys making fun of themselves. “If you aren’t whipped for their cute giggles and blissful laughter then WhAT ArE YoU DoiNG WiTh YoUR LiFE ?!?!?!?!” One fan commented. “I like seeing stuff like this where they’re laughing and amused by something simple. Jikook laughing is one of the best sounds,” another wrote.
Jungkook then showed what maknaes are known for by posting the altered photos on Twitter. He captioned it, “I tried to predict how we'll look after 15 years. While editing this, I almost passed out of laughter, I couldn’t breathe.”
