Dynasty season 3 is returning on The CW this fall. The family drama has no set third season premiere date thus far, but it will be taking over a new schedule in its upcoming installment.

As per DeadlineDynasty season 3 will occupy the Friday 9:00 p.m. slot once all the shows begin its Fall TV season run. The series previously aired on the same night but during the 8:00 p.m. schedule.

The move up the schedule will likely usher creative changes to the series. However, Dynasty season 3 will also have a new showrunner in Josh Reims after Sallie Patrick, as per TV Line

All major cast members of Dynasty season 3 are deemed returning as there hasn't been any news of another departure in recent weeks. It's no secret that the show has been marred by actors quitting in the middle of its run, such as Nathalie Kelley (as Cristal Flores) and James McKay (as Steven Carrington) and Nicolette Sheridan (as Alexis Carrington), thus the need to recast.

Meanwhile, Dynasty season 2 ended with an explosive storyline with the emergence of two bodies during the romantic rowboat engagement of Fallon Carrington (played by Elizabeth Gillies) and Liam Ridley (played by Adam Huber). Fallon knew one of the dead people, who was her old high school friend Trixie. It's unclear, however, if she will be implicated in the case.

Things got even more complicated when Adam Carrington (played by Sam Underwood) and Liam had a tussle. The latter hit Liam with a flower pot, and he was last seen falling down the pool as Dynasty season 2 faded to black. If Liam survives this, will he completely recover or will he become a different person?

Adam is already in big trouble as it is after Dominique Deveraux (played by Michael Michele) and Jeff (played by Sam Adegoke) tried to frame him for murder. However, new evidence has been brought on to suggest that the mother and son team were in cahoots. Will this help clear Adam in Dynasty season 3? Michael Culhane (played by Robert Christopher Riley), on the other hand, has been sent to prison but this will likely not be the last time viewers will see him in Dynasty.

The show has not yet started filming the third season, but the cast and crew are expected to be back on the set of this summer.
