David Letterman will be back on Netflix for My Next Guest Needs No Introduction season 2. This time, the highly popular talk show host has lined-up Ellen DeGeneres, Kanye West, Melinda Gates, Tiffany Haddish and Lewis Hamilton as his guests.
Dropping on the streaming platform on Friday, May 31, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction season 2 will follow the same format as the first season. The hour-long episodes will feature Letterman in his element as he interviews his visitors, but the show will also feature segments where Letterman goes to different events and places and get in touch with the public.
According to ABC, Letterman's interview with DeGeneres on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction season 2 should be one to watch. It's only on this show that the daytime talk show host and comedienne admitted that she was sexually assaulted as a teenager.
DeGeneres recalled that one of her mother's former husbands gave her a "breast examination" to ensure that she was fine. This came after her mother was diagnosed with the disease.
"He convinced me that he needs to feel my breasts, and then he tries to do it again another time, and then another time," DeGeneres told Letterman. "I didn't want to tell my mother because I was protecting her and I knew that that would ruin her happiness -- and she was happy with him even though he was a horrible man."
DeGeneres also admitted that this caused problems between her and her mother, who remained married to her husband for 18 years. Today, however, the mother and daughter have patched things up, and the comedienne also gave sage advice to the young viewers of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction season 2.
Meanwhile, Billboard reported that Letterman would get fashion tips from Kim Kardashian's husband in My Next Guest Needs No Introduction season 2. A preview of West's episode showed the rapper styling the talk show host, where West said that he used to work at Gap.
Letterman did look great after his makeover with West. He also told his guest that he would consider buying the clothes the rapper styled with him.
All episodes of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction season 2 will be accessible on Netflix at once. The first season, on the other hand, is still streaming on the platform. It features guests like Barack Obama, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Tina Fey, Jay-Z, and Howard Stern.
