Just like most maknaes, Jungkook is known for being the silliest one in BTS. Since he is the youngest member of the popular K-pop boy band, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and their fans let him get away with his bratty ways.
But just because the BTS boys allowed him to be his silly self, that doesn’t mean that they let him do it all the time. Jungkook has many hobbies, but one of this favorite past times is mouthing off to his older members. Nobody knows this better than Jimin.
On May 29, BangtanTV released a new video from BTS’s Love Yourself in Hong Kong concert where their friend, actor Park Bo Gum, showed up as a surprise guest backstage. In the clip, the members are in a rush after being told that they have a special guest waiting for them in one of the rooms backstages.
When they enter the room, they’re shocked to see Park Bo Gum, who is covered in BTS and BT21 gear. The 25-year-old actor complimented the band on their performance but they were too entertained by the fact Park was wearing a Love Yourself t-shirt, like a true fan.
Noticing Park Bo Gum’s Cooky headband, RM laughs as he asks V, “Was Bo Gum’s favorite [member] Jungkook?” J-Hope also questions V if he knew that the actor had plans to come, but they are surprised to find out that he had arrived without notifying any of the members.
After posing for photos, Jin made the ultimate kind gesture by gifting Park the sunglasses he had worn during the concert.
So how did Jungkook burn Jimin with a sassy reply, you ask? Well, when Jimin asked how did Park Bo Gum had come all the way to Hong Kong, Jungkook chimed in with his typical, bratty sass. “By plane, of course,” he said.
Probably embarrassed to be burned by a maknae in front of a popular actor, Jimin walked up to Jungkook as if he was going to teach him a lesson. However, just like most similar incidents, he let it slide. Watch the short clips here.
As it turns out, Park Bo Gum’s unexpected appearance wasn’t completely out-of-the-blue though as the Love in the Moonlight actor revealed he was in town to attend his own fan event. BTS then joked about returning the favor and popping up at Park Bo Gum’s fan event as a surprise.
