Breaking News: Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo Devoice Rumors Come Ture, Song-Song Couple Ending Their Marriage
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo, undeniably, caught the hearts of many when they appeared together as Captain Yoo Shi Jin and Doctor Kang Mo Yeon, respectively, in the 2016-hit drama series titled Descendants of the Sun. The Hallyu stars garnered a significant number of following due to the effective portrayals of their characters. Approximately three years since the popular SBS drama premiered, the Song-Song couple has landed new roles for two upcoming projects fans should watch out for.
At the moment, avid followers of Song Joong Ki are very much thrilled about his forthcoming return in the small screens after years of hiatus from the limelight. The good thing is, Song Hye Kyo's husband was tapped to play the role of Eun Seom in the upcoming tvN show titled Arthdal Chronicles. In the said series, Joong Ki's character is a half-human and half-Neanderthal warrior, who possesses extraordinary courage and bravery to save himself and his tribe.
Spoilers suggested that the character of Song Joong Ki would be competing with Tae Gon, who is played by Jang Dong Gun, Arthdal Chronicles. It was, previously, revealed that the character of Song Hye Kyo's better half would feel inferior as he would be considered an outsider for having human blood. Despite this, he would use his might and power to save his clan from danger. The new series is set to premiere on June 1, 2019, on tvN and Netflix.
Besides Arthdal Chronicles, Song Joong Ki would, also, be working on another project called The Seungri. The real-life partner of Song Hye Kyo would star alongside Kim Tae Ri. The imminent new film, according to reports, is a science fiction movie that focuses on the journey of astronauts who visit several planets in the Solar System. This is said to be the very first space film to be made in Korea. No other details were revealed about the upcoming new movie.
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo, for her part, will be working with Joo Ji Hoon in another imminent television series on KBS titled Hyena. Reports suggested that the wife of Song Joong Ki will play as an attorney named Jung Geum Ja, who is willing to ignore morality and law if needs be just to win her case. The Princess Hours actor, on the other hand, would act as an arrogant lawyer named Yoo Hae Jae, who believes that he controls the fate of Korea's richest people through his excellent skills and knowledge in law.
Aside from that, Hye Kyo would also be doing another movie alongside Chinese director Wong Kar Wai. The 37-year-old South Korea actress, previously, stated that she would like to work with Chinese artists and filmmakers.
