Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been married for five years last May 24. In honor of this milestone, Kim shared a batch of old photos taken on their wedding day.
Following in the tradition of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Kim posted the photos of her 2014 wedding behind-the-scenes on Instagram. She also captioned the post with a statement saying that she married her best friend.
Kim and Kanye had a romantic wedding at a 16th-century fort filled with white flowers in Florence, Italy. Andrea Bocelli serenaded the happy couple while Miami church pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. officiated the wedding.
Five years of marriage is quite an achievement in Hollywood, especially for someone as high-profile as Kim and Kanye, whose lives are always in the tabloids. This is, after all, Kim's third marriage while it is a first for Kanye. A source told People that the couple is so proud of their marriage.
"Kim and Kanye seem very happy. They feel very proud about their marriage," the source revealed. "And they love being parents."
To celebrate their fifth anniversary, Kanye reportedly brought Kim to watch Celine Dion in Las Vegas, and they also met up with the Grammy-winning singer backstage. The source said that the couple decided not to go on a long and lavish trip because they have a newborn waiting for them at home.
On May 9, Kim and Kanye welcomed their fourth child, a boy named Psalm, who was born via surrogate. The Kardashian-West family has three other children -- North, 6, Saint, 3 and Chicago, 15 months.
Kim said that they no longer have plans to add more children. Aside from her dangerous pregnancies with North and Saint, the reality TV star believes that she has everything she wants in her family.
"I don't think I could handle could handle more than that," Kim said in another interview with People. "My time is spread really thin, and I think it's important in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids."
Meanwhile, in the most recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim expressed her concern for sister Khloe Kardashian and her rocky relationship with Tristan Thompson, as per E! News. Despite the numerous times Tristan cheated on her, Khloe was still hanging on to her relationship with the father of her daughter, True. Of course, the show filmed way ahead of the actual events, but Khloe did eventually break up with Thompson in February.
