Although K-pop stars need to maintain their thin frame, that doesn’t mean that they don’t like food in general at all. Multiple videos show that a lot of these celebrities are huge fans of food despite their very slender appearance.
But while most K-pop idols see food as a treat, others see it as a punishment. Just take BTS’s Jin and Suga, for example. Korean ARMYs have noticed their difference when it comes to food.
Jin had proven time and time again just how much he loves food. Whenever he is filmed or captured eating, he always seems to find everything delicious and enjoys himself.
Even if it was just a simple and basic hamburger, Jin acts as if it’s the tastiest thing in the world that viewers want a piece of it, too. And when he’s eating in front of the camera, he would usually share it to the audience because he's too excited about it and want everyone to feel what he’s feeling as well.
On the other hand, Suga seems to eat solely to survive. Every time people get to see him eat something, he never seems to enjoy his food. Whenever he does eat, he makes it look like it’s a chore.
At times it’s as if it’s difficult for him to swallow. He gets comments from netizens as he eats saying, “please enjoy your meal,” and he responds, “but it’s delicious?”
And sometimes it appears that he’s unsure of exactly what he’s eating. And if he knows what it is, his facial expression shows that what he’s eating is tasteless. It is quite clear that Suga certainly doesn’t get excited about eating while Jin thinks that food is the best treat for their hard work. Check out the photos and short clips here.
The difference in their stance on food is hilarious to see in a BBQ chicken advertisement. Jin looked like he was a kid on a candy store as he tasted the food. He is certainly a great endorser as many would go out and buy the chicken because his facial expression says it’s very delicious.

However, Suga’s advertisement is quite the opposite. While he did eat and tried to act that the food was amazing, his expression says that he would rather do something else than sit down there and eat.
