So how will they handle it? The publication noted a baby mermaid might be coming soon to the lives of Ryn and everyone. However, the newborn's arrival will surely raise a lot of questions, and it will be answered in the continuation of the second half.
Aside from a new baby, Siren Season 2 Episode 9 will give fans more knowledge about the mermaid's world. There may be a lot of underwater sequences to show what universe they are into.
Meanwhile, the start of the second half will come earlier than expected. The show is set to continue in July, but Freeform decided to move it a month earlier.
Business Times reported Freeform wanted to air Siren Season 2 Episode 9 in an earlier date, so fans would not have to wait any longer. The earlier release is also said to be for the advantage of the network.
If Freeform lengthen the hiatus for another month, there is a chance it will lose viewers, which is a common concern whenever shows take a long break in the middle of the season. The show caters young audience, and they easily get bored when they have to wait for too long.
So, fans can expect to see Siren Season 2 Episode 9 on the small screens in a couple of weeks, so that it may end before the school resumes in August. "No North Star" will be out on Thursday, June 13, on Freeform.
