The Flash Season 5 recently concluded and lead star Grant Gustin, who plays the role of Barry Allen, celebrated its ending with a new tattoo. The 29-year-old star showed off his new ink on Instagram, and Stephen Amell has something to say.

In the first snap, Gustin showed his and his wife's, Andrea LA Thoma, matching tattoos. It is an arrow that forms a whole when their arms are attached, bearing the initials of their names.

The second photo features Gustin's other tattoo, The Flash logo that Allen wears on his suit. According to Comic Book, the ink is a tribute to his character as the Scarlet Speedster.

"LA and I got the coolest tattoos from the legend @mr.k_tattoo," Grunt captioned the snap. "He also added this little (lightning symbol). I can't wait for our next session! Gonna be insane..."

Mr. K is a known celebrity tattoo artist based at BANG BANG tattoo in New York City. From the looks of it, Grunt has a plan to add more inks on his body.

Meanwhile, Gustin will be joining the Arrowverse's "Crisis on Infinite Earth" mega-crossover happening on The Flash Season 6. The previous season had been setting the stage for the ultimate crossover that The CW had been teasing all along.

Gustin feels a little fulfilled to see the "Crisis" world play out on television. However, he wishes the show will stick around longer to see what will be going on with that newspaper article seen in the Season 5 finale.

Gustin wants The Flash to have four or five more seasons as the show seems to have earned it to run longer. He also adds he and Amell are having conversations about the crossover and teases there will be a lot of comedic moments because of the characters' history and the journey that they are on.

Talking about Amell, the Arrow star left a funny comment on Gustin and his wife's tattoo on Instagram. "Pretty cool that an arrow connects you guys," the 38-year-old star said.

Cinema Blend reported The Flash would never exist without Arrow. So, Grunt's tattoo might also be a tribute to Amell's show. Arrow Season 8 is reportedly the final bow of Oliver Queen's story, so Grunt gave all his praises to his co-star, Amell.

The Flash Season 6 is set to be out this fall on The CW. It will still air every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET. Arrow Season 8, on the other hand, is also due for release this year at 9 p.m. ET.
