A recent report claims Queen Elizabeth II isn't happy after Kate Middleton broke a royal protocol just recently. The Duchess of Cambridge is said to be not a rule breaker, but she allegedly broke some royal rules sometime, and the monarch is frustrated about it.
Middleton made headlines recently after she greeted Her Majesty with a kiss when the Queen attended the Chelsea Flower Show to support her in unveiling the garden that she designed. The act allegedly noticed by many as the members of the Firm are reportedly against public displays of affection.
Moreover, the Duchess of Cambridge reportedly wore a pair of wedge shoes for the event, wherein Queen Elizabeth is said to be a "notorious wedge-hater." As per a report from the Vanity Fair, a source claims the monarch doesn't like the footwear, and the majority of the women in the royal family know about it.
Amanda Harding also said the royal family remains strict to some certain rules, so Her Majesty reportedly gets a little bit frustrated especially when Middleton broke some of it as she'll rule alongside Prince William someday. But, Queen Elizabeth would not reportedly disgrace the Duchess of Cambridge in public for breaking royal protocols.
Zoe Forsey from Mirror, on the other hand, believes Middleton did not break the royal protocol when she greeted the Queen with a kiss on the cheek. This is reportedly a normal gesture to the royal family members, and they also kiss each other on the cheek at less formal events. Some royal family members doing the same to the monarch include Camilla Parker Bowles, Zara Tindall, Prince William, as well as Prince Harry.
Meanwhile, some reports claim Her Majesty and the Duchess of Cambridge have a "great relationship" and have become "allies." The way they interact with each other is reportedly a sign they have already created a strong bond and grew closer over the past years.
One source even claims that Queen Elizabeth is "very fond" of Middleton since she reportedly likes the "middle-class values" of the Duchess of Cambridge and how she's close to her family. But then, Her Majesty gave Meghan Markle a special honor, and Middleton "waited much longer" for it to receive.
Queen Elizabeth and the Duchess of Sussex went on their first solo engagement together just less than a month after Markle married Prince Harry. However, it reportedly took almost a year before Her Majesty and Middleton went on their joint engagement together.
